Airport

You need to fly into the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP). There are two Terminals at the Airport. The Lindberg Terminal is the Main Terminal, which hold the main airlines (NWA, AA, Delta, Continental, etc.) The Humphrey Terminal is smaller and the following airlines come in there, Sun Country, ATA, Midwest Airlines and charters.

SuperShuttle

SuperShuttle Van Service is available 24 hours per day seven days a week for transportation between Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and the Minneapolis/St. Paul hotels. We have negotiated a discounted rate for attendees!

When you arrive at the airport at the Lindbergh Terminal, collect your luggage, proceed to the lower level (follow signs to ground transportation), and continue to follow the signs upstairs to the Scheduled Van/Hotel Shuttle Van loading area. SuperShuttle is conveniently located inside the terminal by the loading area. Identify yourself to the SupperShuttle agent/driver, purchase your ticket with discount code NRWE6 and you will be transported to your hotel. For the Humphrey Terminal, collect your luggage, and proceed across the street to the free shuttle to the Lindbergh terminal. Follow the signs for Scheduled Van/Hotel Shuttle Van loading area.

Light Rail

The light rail (http://www.metrotransit.org/light-rail.aspx) travels between the Mall of America and the new Target Field. In between it stops at both Airports (Humphrey and Lindbergh) and at the Nicollet Mall. You can take the light rail from the airports to Nicollet Mall for less than $2.50. Once you arrive at Nicollet Mall you can take the "Free Ride" (http://www.metrotransit.org/ride-free-on-nicollet-mall.aspx) south to the Hyatt Regency.

From Lindbergh Terminal (Terminal 1) take the escalator down one level from the tram level and purchase a rail tickeet from the machine. Continue down another escalator to the rail platform.

From Humphrey Terminal (Terminal 2) follow the signs to the light rail through the parking ramps.

Note:

  1. You must purchase your tickets BEFORE you get on the train at a nearby machine
  2. On your return trip remember that it could take you up to an hour to get to the Airport
  3. There is no fee to travel between the two terminals

Taxi

Taxis are available at the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals. Taxi service at the Lindbergh Terminal is accessible via the Tram Level. Signs direct passengers one level up to the cab starter booth, where airport staff will assist passengers obtaining a taxi. At the Humphrey Terminal, taxi service is available at the Humphrey Ground Transportation Center, which is located in the Humphrey Parking ramp on Level 1.

All cab fares are metered at a rate of $1.90 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare, which allows drivers to recoup airport permit fees.

It is approximately $25 one way to and from the airport.
