    Josh Adams is Senior System Engineer & ColdFusion Specialist at Adobe Systems Incorporated. In this role, Josh supports the ColdFusion sales team throughout North America. Josh is passionate about ColdFusion and the ColdFusion community: he presents regularly to User Groups and conferences throughout North America and is a longtime member, past President, and current Director of the Atlanta ColdFusion User Group.
  • Fred Anderson
    In 1995 Fred made the transition from full-time musician to full-time programmer. From the beginning ColdFusion has played a major part in his Internet-Based Applications. For the past seven years Fred has worked in the Real Estate market developing a property search engine and geo-spatial mapping tools. In the past year He has been working on iPhone applications powered by ColdFusion back-ends.

  • Charlie Arehart
    A veteran ColdFusion developer and troubleshooter since 1997 with over 25 years in IT, Charlie Arehart is a longtime contributor to the community and a recognized Adobe Community Professional. As an independent consultant, he provides short-term troubleshooting/tuning assistance and training/mentoring for organizations of all sizes and CF experience levels (carehart.org/consulting).
    Besides running the 2000-member Online ColdFusion Meetup (coldfusionmeetup.com, an online CF user group), he also hosts the UGTV repository of recorded presentations from hundreds of speakers (carehart.org/ugtv) and the CF411 site of over 1000 tools/resources for CFers (cf411.com). A certified Advanced CF Developer and Instructor for each version since CF 4, Charlie's spoken at each of the major CF conferences worldwide and is a contributor to all three volumes of Ben Forta's ColdFusion 8 and 9 WACK books.
  • Laura Arguello
    Laura Arguello is co-founder of AsFusion, a company specialized in the development of Rich Internet Applications. Laura is known for her contributions to the Adobe developer community made through her blog and open source software, Mango Blog and Mate Flex Framework. She has also written articles about Flex and ColdFusion for the Adobe Developer Center, the WebDJ and the CFDJ. She holds a degree in Information and Computer Science with specialization in Software Systems from the University of California, Irvine and her main interests are user experience, software architecture and finding or creating tools that make the developer’s life easier.
  • John Paul Ashenfelter
    John Paul has been working with the web since Yahoo! was a web page updated twice a week by some guy named Jerry. He has worked with nearly every web development technology that is not Perl, and continues to enjoy not working with Perl. Strongly focused on agile development, John Paul has used ColdFusion since version 3.0 and has been a constant presence at ColdFusion conferences ever since. He also wrote ColdFusion for Dummies in addition to several other books and dozens of articles on web development, coldfusion, open source databases, testing, and other agile practices.
    Now John Paul focuses mostly on open-source development, including Ruby, Rails, and other emerging web technologies in addition to consulting on ColdFusion projects for startups, the Fortune 500, nonprofits, and educational institutions. He is particularly interested in the NoSQL database movement, the Javascript renaissance on the server-side, and the mobile application development space. In his spare time, he is a husband, father of two boys, and certified geek.
  • Simeon Bateman
    Simeon Bateman is the owner and Principle Instigator for PNW Rain LLC, an RIA application development and consulting company in Portland, Oregon. Simeon has a long history in the ColdFusion community, contributing and administrating some of the most popular open source frameworks. Simeon has been teaching Flex since version 1.5. He specializes in helping teams be successful building RIA's and works for the opportunity to help developers have those "Ah-Ha!" moments.
  • Peter Bell
    Peter Bell is a passionate advocate of Application Generation and meta-programming in ColdFusion and writes the popular Application Generation blog (http://appgen.pbell.com). He has lectured internationally on using ColdFusion for application generation and to create software product lines and runs a company (http://www.systemsforge.com) that generates custom applications quickly and cost effectively.   • Steve Blades
    Steve 'Cutter' Blades lives and works in Nashville, TN. Singer, Prophet, Poet, Priest, and sometimes Web Developer, Cutter has been working with web technologies since HTML 1 and Mosaic, and working with ColdFusion since '99.   • Barney Boisvert
    Barney Boisvert is a Sr. Application Developer at Mentor Graphics primarily using ColdFusion, Groovy, and JavaScript, along with a smattering of Java and Flex. Most of the work he does there is centered around mining and visualization of corporate marketing data, and many of his "hobby" projects follow the same thread. He is the author of the CFGroovy and FB3Lite frameworks, was a core contributor to Fusebox 4, has provided patches to Fusebox 5, Prototype, Groovy, Hibernate and ColdSpring. He is an active member in local and online CF, Flex, and Java communities and occasionally speaks at user groups and conferences.
  • Rob Brooks-Bilson
    Rob Brooks-Bilson is a consultant, freelance writer, and the Director of Architecture at Amkor Technology. His involvement with ColdFusion goes back to version 1.5 and includes many Enterprise projects, the creation of numerous open source custom tags, and co-founding CFLib.org. Rob is an Adobe Community Expert for ColdFusion, a member of the CFML Advisory Committee, manages the CFCDev mailing list and is a frequent speaker at ColdFusion user groups and conferences. Over the years, Rob has written many articles on ColdFusion and other technologies for various print and online magazines. He's also the author two O'Reilly books, Programming ColdFusion and Programming ColdFusion MX.

  • Raymond Camden
    Raymond Camden is a developer for FirstComp, Inc. focusing on ColdFusion and RIA development. A long time ColdFusion user, Raymond has worked on numerous ColdFusion books including the ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit and has contributed to the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update and the ColdFusion Developers Journal. He also presents at conferences and contributes to online webzines.   • Sean Corfield
    Sean is currently CEO of Railo Technologies, Inc. He has worked in IT for over twenty five years, starting out writing database systems and compilers then moving into mobile telecoms and finally into web development in 1997. Along the way, he worked on the ISO and ANSI C++ Standards committees for eight years and is a staunch advocate of software standards and best practice.     Jeff Coughlin is the owner of Versatile Internet Solutions, a web application solutions provider. At Versatile Internet Jeff manages, architects, and develops applications primarily in the healthcare industry to meet clients' needs using Adobe-based products such as ColdFusion and Flex.
    A ColdFusion enthusiast since 1999, Jeff is an Adobe Community Professional, he is the Adobe User Group manager for Hartford CT and is an active member of multiple ColdFusion (and Farcry) mailing lists.     Currently employed by the Minnesota Department of Health, Jason Dean has been working in Information Technology for 12 years, focusing on application security for the past three. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard trained in both physical and information security, he held a secret security clearance and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management from American Military University.   • Steven Erat
    Steven is a Senior Consultant at Webapper Services, specializing in ColdFusion Tuning, Troubleshooting, and Development, and Flex Development. His experience with database-driven Web applications began at Allaire in 2000 where he provided Gold Support for premiere enterprise customers of Allaire/Macromedia/Adobe. Later, Steven was a member of the ColdFusion Product Team and eventually joined the ColdFusion Engineering Team at Adobe as Lead Software Quality Developer where he rigorously tested the ColdFusion 8 server.     Marc Esher has been developing ColdFusion and Java applications since 2000. He currently works in the financial industry building custom print-on-demand software. He is a co-project-owner for MXUnit and has contributed the Eclipse plugin along with several framework features. He has an abiding passion for team building, mentoring, and process improvement.   • Peter Farrell
    Hailing from the frigid tundra of Minnesota, Peter J. Farrell has a Bachelor of Music degree from the Peabody Institute at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. While studying music, Peter took his life-long interest with computers to a new level and started learning about web development technologies. He has been working with CFML since 2001 and is the lead developer of the Mach-II framework since 2005.

    Jamie Krug developed a love for programming early on, writing a BASIC program on a RadioShack TRS-80 to calculate "little league" baseball batting averages at an early age. He entered college as a computer science major, but ended up with a bachelor's degree in music and a mathematics minor. Long story, short: Jamie loves both music and programming, but programming generally pays a bit better. Primarily building Web applications in ColdFusion since 2001, Jamie is a passionate learner and also geeks around in Groovy/Java, Flex/ActionScript and Linux, among others. He also greatly appreciates and participates in many open source software projects.

    Luis Majano is a Computer Engineer currently employed at ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) in Southern California. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and is the president of Ortus Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in Adobe ColdFusion & Java development.     Mark Mandel is a full time consultant and lead developer on several open source projects, most notably Transfer ORM, ColdSpring, JavaLoader and ColdDoc and has been working with ColdFusion for a number of years, including at his very own dot com back in the late 90's.
    Mark can often be found blogging at www.compoundtheory.com, which has housed his thoughts on ColdFusion, Java and various aspects of software development for several years.   • John Mason
    John is the lead developer for Merlin Manager, an AIR based ColdFusion server management and monitoring system. He is the founding member of the popular RIApodcast.com and the Online Flex Meetup - flexmeetup.com. John also founded and served as the first president of the Atlanta Flash/Flex Users Group, and is currently the president of the Atlanta ColdFusion Users Group, one of the largest CF user groups in the world. John maintains several popular open source projects at RIAforge.org such as Portcullis, a sql injection and cross-site (XSS) filter. He earned his MBA in 2001 from Georgia Southern University and is the current President/CEO of FusionLink, a ColdFusion and Flex hosting company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Andy Matthews
    Andy Matthews is currently Senior Web Developer for Dealerskins, an enterprise shop focusing on professional websites for the automotive space. He is the author of several open source ColdFusion libraries on RIAForge.org and has developed multiple AIR applications with Flex, as well as HTML/JS. Andy loves designing rich user interfaces as well as writing the back end code to support them.   • Justin Mclean
    Justin Mclean has more than 15 years experience in developing web based applications and over that time has worked on hundreds of web applications, database driven web sites, multimedia applications and semiconnected desktop applications. Justin has managed his own consulting company Class Software for more than 10 years and has a long history with Adobe/Macromedia/Allaire products.   • Brian Meloche
    A ColdFusion developer since 1998, Brian Meloche is a longtime contributor to the community. Best known as the host of CFConversations, he's an Adobe Community Expert for CF and manages the Cleveland CFUG. Before that, he managed the Cleveland AUG and the West Virginia MMUG. Brian has been involved in several community efforts and has mentored several user group managers. Brian has also written several articles for the ColdFusion Developer's Journal and Fusion Authority. Since early 2004, Brian has worked for a successful wholesaler in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has been involved in several large enterprise web projects using ColdFusion. Brian's also a partner at LightWater Web Consulting Group, and is available for consulting opportunities.     Rob Rusher is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), Professional (ACP), and Instructor (ACI). In his role as Principle Consultant for On3, he leads an Adobe software enablement practice to help his clients build rich Internet applications and to rapidly increase their knowledge and skills to better support their organization's goals. He has taught and mentored the technical teams at Standard and Poor’s, eBay, IBM Global Services, the Social Security Administration, and other Government and Fortune 100 organizations.
    Because of his depth of knowledge and long standing relationship with Adobe, Rob was selected to write the Certified AIR training course as well as the ColdFusion and Flex certification exams.     Terry Ryan is a Flash Platform Evangelist for Adobe. He specializes in ColdFusion. Previously he was a ColdFusion developer for over 10 years, working at the Wharton School of Business.     After starting his own Internet services company six years ago (Studio Squared Inc.) with Blue River's Matt Levine, award-winning designer Sean Schroeder joined Blue River with a unique focus on solid design principles applied to the user experience. In collaboration with Matt, Sean is the founder and developer of Mura CMS, Blue River’s popular open source content management system.
  • Bob Silverberg
    Bob Silverberg has been developing software for nearly twenty years, the past ten of which have been devoted to web application development with ColdFusion. He runs a small development company from his home in Toronto, where he divides his time between client work, open source development and taking care of his two young sons.   • Dan Skaggs
    Dan Skaggs is co-founder of Web-Meister Designs, Inc., a web development consulting firm he and his wife started in 1999 as a part-time endeavor. In 2006, Dan transitioned to the role of independent consultant, working full-time through Web-Meister for clients of all sizes located across the United States.     Lance Smith is a senior application engineer for O’Neil & Associates, Inc., a defense and commercial contractor in Miamisburg, Ohio. He has been developing with ColdFusion for over ten years, and has extensive experience in several aspects of the Web including design, development, architecture and optimization. He is a part-time instructor at Sinclair Community College and has taught such topics as Web design with Dreamweaver and digital media with Photoshop and Illustrator.
